Why Get Your Bike Fit?

The vast majority of bicyclists are simply unaware that there is a better, more comfortable, and safer way.  Longtime, experienced, high mileage cyclists or even racers are squirming around on their saddles and putting themselves at risk of over-use injuries.   And worst of all, they are going slower and working more than they need too.  A proper bike fit addresses these issues with:

  • Toe Numbness
  • Arch Soreness
  • Foot hotspots
  • Knee Pain
  • Saddle issues (numbness in your gentler areas)
  • Lower Back pain
  • Upper Back pain (e.g. in between shoulder blades)
  • Elbow Pain

Why Get Your Bike Fit?

Most simply put, a bike fit is adjusting your bike to your body.  You have only 5 contact points on your bike: your feet, hands, and rear end.   If those parts of your body are being coerced away from where they can be comfortable you will develop problems as the miles add up.

  • Stem length/angle
  • Cleat position fore/aft
  • Cleat position medial/lateral
  • Varus/valgus cleat wedging
